Welcome to Argument Engine. This blog reflects my personal opinions, as well as describing some of my work and research. It’s written for a general audience, rather than for specialists or scholars. As such, it isn’t as heavily referenced as my academic work. If you have questions about sources, though, feel free to ask. I do list recommendations for further reading in some posts.
In addition to serving as a forum for my commentary on current political affairs, particularly those relating to race and gender, this blog aggregates related posts I’ve made in other online fora, and often expands on them. Since I’m a complicated person with diverse interests, only a small part of my activism, scholarship and art is represented here. You can find links to my various public personae on my home site.
